This could be your life in 6 months…

Imagine this.

It’s 6am on Monday. Your alarm goes off and you quickly realise it must be a workday.

You jump out of bed excited to start the week. You work from home on Monday’s but you are also pumped to be in the office later this week to catch up with colleagues.

Your morning routine only takes an hour and you decide to logon early because on Mondays you like to take a 4pm hot yoga class.

Things are pretty flexible at your company and no-one really keeps track of these things. Everyone loves their jobs and the company trusts you all to get your work done. So if you need to finish early, no one minds.

Your offices are designed to maximise the time when people are in the office. There are plenty of communal spaces and days in the office are designed for collaborating with colleagues.

So many ideas and plans are shared on these days. You love the days you are in the office because the vibe is always good.

The Senior Leaders love developing talent and you feel valued for the work you do. There is a clear path forward in the company and support to help you get where you want to go.

Does this sound like your current workplace?

No?

Why not?

You might think this sounds like Work Utopia.

But I just described a real job, at a real company, that I had when I was 26.

Believe it or not, these jobs and companies exist.

You may not have seen one yet.

But everyday, all over the country, there are people that go to work and experience this.

So, why isn’t this you?

Roles like this exist. But they won’t just fall in your lap.

To find these types of roles, you first have to understand what sort of environments you will thrive in - it’s different for everyone. A place you love might be hell for someone else.

So it's important to understand where you will do well based on your values, your personality and your current motivations.

You also have to make a plan. Getting into your ‘dream job’ requires a plan. You really have to understand how you are going to make this move and map it out before you start executing.

And once you have this plan, you have to start hunting these jobs down. You have to employ tactics online as well as offline, to make sure you are getting yourself to the front of the queue for these unique opportunities.

But boy, is it worth it!

I’ve had over 200 people through my Creative Career Level Up programme and so many of them will tell you they love going to work everyday.

Life is too short to hate your job. It's too short to wake up everyday and dread the day ahead.

If you are sick of hating your job, we need to talk. The Creative Career Level Up might be the right solution to help you find your next perfect role.

I help people in the Marketing and Creative and Tech Industries to find their next perfect role.
